In accordance with our legal obligations, if we anticipate that our professional costs in acting for you will exceed $1,500.00 exclusive of GST and outlays we will enter into a formal Costs Agreement with you. That Costs Agreement will give you an estimate of costs. It is not a quote but an estimate based on the preliminary instructions provided by you.
The Costs Agreement will, apart from providing an estimate of our professional costs, give you details as to how the costs are calculated and are to be paid. For instance, we may require our costs to be paid on a monthly basis or upon receipt of funds into our Trust Account.
Like most Solicitors, we also operate a Trust Account. This Account holds funds on behalf of clients. We may require funds to be paid into our Trust Account as part of acting for you.

Our Trust Account is regularly audited. We will provide you with a reconciliation of the funds held in our Trust Account on your behalf when your matter is finalised.
Subject to the terms of the Costs Agreements, Tax Invoices may be sent to you monthly and the terms of payment will be set out in the Tax Invoice.

- Credit card or EFTPOS – in person or by phone
